  • Why are you recalling the Ashley Furniture Industries, LLC Party Time Sofa, Loveseat, and Recliner?
    We are recalling the sofa, loveseat, and recliner because after prolonged use, it is possible for the LED lighting feature inside the product’s cupholders to overheat, posing a fire hazard. To ensure safety, we are asking customers to unplug the unit until they have the cupholders replaced by a technician, free of charge. Consumers can contact Ashley Furniture Industries, LLC at the provided contact information. Technicians will be sent to the consumer’s home to install a newly designed cupholder into the recliner.
  • How do I know if my furniture is part of this recall?
    Please look on the bottom of your recliner for any of the following model numbers, which will be located on a sticker next to a bar code.
  • What do I need to do to ensure the safe use of my sofa, loveseat, and recliner?
    We urge consumers to unplug the unit until a technician can replace the cupholder.
  • Will refunds be provided to customers who purchased one of the loveseat, sofa, and recliner?
    As part of this recall, Ashley Furniture Industries, LLC will arrange for a technician to come to your home to install a free replacement cupholder. We are not offering a refund for the sofa, loveseat, and recliner.
  • I live in Canada. Does this recall affect me?
    Yes. Ashley Furniture Industries, LLC is also recalling the sofa, loveseat, and recliner in Canada and in coordination with Health Canada. Canadian consumers are urged to participate in the recall. For more information, please see the Canadian recall announcement here:
  • How much will the replacement cup holder cost?
    A technician will be sent to your home to replace the cupholder free of charge.
  • How long will it take to replace my cup holder?
    The cupholder will be replaced at a time convenient for you, based on the availability of the technician and should take approximately 15 to 30 minutes.
  • Can I continue to use my sofa, loveseat, and recliner while I wait for the replacement cup holder?
    Yes, you may continue using your power recliner, however we urge you to unplug the product until you have received new replacement cupholders by participating in this recall.
  • I purchased my sofa, loveseat, and recliner through a reseller, online marketplace, or on Amazon, do I contact them about the recall?
    There is no need for you to contact the seller of the sofa, loveseat, and recliner. This recall is being handled by Ashley Furniture Industries, LLC, and we will handle any questions and process your request for the replacement cupholder.
